2. The Modern Institute is registered as a legal entity with the Bulgarian Statistics agency, BULSTAT number 175506660, June 25 2008.

3. As per legal obligations, The Modern Institute is registered with the State Agency for National Security as an organisation free of ties to terrorist groups or organised crime.

4. The Modern Institute's governing structure consists of a Board of Directors. The board is headed by the Chairman, Thomas Topham. Executive authority is granted by the Board to our Executive Director, David Read.

5. As per Bulgarian law and our internal statutes, financial liability for the Modern Institute is held by Thomas Topham.
